Keeping You or Your Loved One Safe
Assured Care continues to collaborate with the CDC as well as state and local health care officials to mitigate the risk of infection. Our small community size and extensive precautionary practices will ensure that you or your loved one stays safe.
At this time, visitor restrictions are in effect. Visitors, regardless of current health, are kindly asked to refrain from in-person visits; exceptions to this restriction include compassionate care situations, such as an end-of-life situation. In those cases, visitors will be limited to a specific room only. We have posted signs on our entryway doors to notify visitors of this policy.
We understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important, and we would be happy to assist you in maintaining contact with your loved ones via phone calls, email, text, or through Skype or Facebook.
Visitation
Please contact us to arrange a visit prior to arrival. Visitation hours are from 9 am – 5 pm and can be up to two hours long. Up to three visitors at a time per resident are permitted, however, all must maintain social distancing and wear a certified face mask. Visits can only be between the resident and their visitor; unfortunately visitors are unable to include other residents or staff in the facility at this time.
Screening Process
All visitors must wait outside of the garage door, where they can check in by calling the house phone or ringing the front door bell for their screening. Then visitors must wash their hands upon entry before beginning their visit. All visitors will be screened by staff for temperature and other symptoms of COVID-19. At each visit, visitors must sign and date a form indicating their understanding of the visitor requirements and rules. This information (such as visitor name and phone number) is collected in case contract tracing is necessary.
